Artemis has no special abilities/mental powers but she'll be pinged by the wheelchair as her mother is also in one. And further back - the fact that she was trained by the bad guys and doesn't want her team to find out. And she really doesn't like people taking sneak peeks into her head.

Zoë Castillo has natural blocks to shield her mind. Pretty much impenetrable even when drugged and hooked up to a machine with that purpose in mind. She's also has some dream-based powers that can be further explained/wibbled on if it ever comes up.
