Tsukasa used to be the leader of a multidimensional terrorist organization called Dai-Shocker, but then he got amnesia, became a hero, got told to destroy all worlds because that was heroic, saved all the worlds, got told off for saving the worlds because that actually destroyed them, and then saved them all again? And he died, got his memory back, went evil, and got better somewhere in all of there, not necessarily in that order. Needless to say, his head (and canon) is a weird place. He's also kind of tsundere for the multiverse? He claims not to give a shit, then tries very hard to save it.
More importantly, his presence distorts worlds as they try to remove him. Normally, this isn't anything noticeable, but manifests in the fact that photos he takes are warped, and occasional distortions in the area immediately surrounding him. His canon has no mind-readers, so I have no idea if that would play havoc with Charles' abilities, but there you go.
Yellow is a Pokemon trainer. So yeah. She also has superpowers due to being born in the Viridian Forest. She can read minds, heal wounds, cause massive power-ups, and do minor telekinesis, but all of these except the telekinesis only work on Pokemon. She is mostly incredibly honest! What you see is what you get. She might notice you in her head, but won't mind!
Chiaki is a lazy teenage boy from modern times who also happens to be a samurai. And a power ranger. He's also capable of shielding himself, but he would have to use a magic kanji for it, so you'll have plenty of warning there.
Karkat is an alien from a culture that thinks murder is socially acceptable and has a caste system based on blood. Karkat himself is a mutant whose blood places him below the lowest caste! He is kind of pissy about this. He is a people person from a society that regards friendship as a disease, and is kind of really fucked up as a result. This blood also makes him extremely vulnerable to psychic powers! So do whatever you want.
He's also got a lot of Weird Time Shit in his brain, as he is a clone of himself sent back in time to become himself, and be cloned from that, etc. Charles may get a headache if he tries to figure out the timeline from Karkat's head.
Naruto has a demon fox in his headspace. Read at your own risk, as it will probably try to eat Charles as soon as he shows up in there. Other than that, he's a shonentard with no defenses against mental powers.
Sazh has no particular defenses! But he's got a pair of guns and a baby chocobo in his hair. Odds are he's thinking about his son at any given time.
