[It's early, not too long after sunrise, when the light begins to glow through the curtains and the nocturnal moaning of the zombies crossfades into rustling of the sentient plantlife. No explosions, no battles -- just an utterly normal morning.]

[ slides his mouth off of Charles's toward his ear ]

*squirms a little but stubbornly keeps mum otherwise*

[ kisses below his ear, then opens his mouth to touch his tongue to Charles's pulse and drag it up to that same spot, softly ]

[ it's a beautifully torturous slow pull of pleasure, not the sparks so much as the heat of the friction that produced them ]

*lets his head fall to the side to give Erik better access, his breath coming a little faster; if he'd been worried about disguising his reaction, his pulse would have been a dead give-away. but for all of his mulishness, he's never been concerned about letting Erik see the effect that he has on him.*

[ and this is what will always have him coming back for more -- was what brought him back, the first time he tried to leave, as much as any assurance of revenge or youarenotalone. he kisses down Charles's exposed throat, open-mouthed kisses that are nevertheless precise, not sloppy, a uniform column of damp warmth left in the wake of his lips and tongue and the bare hint of teeth. ]

*exhales heavily as he slides a hand up from Erik's back to bury itself in his hair*

[ just under his collar, bites down, teeth slippery against Charles's skin but still holding just hard enough to hurt ]

*that drags an inarticulate noise out of him as he shifts restlessly -- but toward the pain, not trying to get away*

[ runs a hand up Charles's belly, pushing his shirt up with it again, though this time with much more intent ]

[ it's probably a familiar thing by this point: the sense that the verbal warning to stop will be coming soon ]

*outright moans at that, soft but completely unstifled*

[ with his hand resting on Charles's ribs, lets go of his throat and moves back up to his ear, the shifting of Erik's own body pushing the shirt up that much more ]

You won't test your boundaries at all?

What are we doing right now?

What we already know is safe.

How precisely do you think that you'd be able to stop, when I told you to? Or would you prefer me to make you stop?

raises his head to look him in the eye ]

I'm not opposed to it, Charles. But what makes you so sure I'm the one who'd need stopping?

Are you saying that you wouldn't be?

[ leans down to kiss him firmly, but swiftly, to allow Erik to push Charles's shirt the rest of the way up and over his head ]

*lifts his arms to help getting it off*

Maybe just insufficiently convincing.

*pulls Erik back down to kiss him again*

[ kisses him back unhurriedly, despite either of their words, instead indulging in the feel of Charles's skin against his ]

*gives leisurely encouragement to him to take his mouth more deeply, and runs his hands down, across Erik's back, pressing them together*

[ closes his teeth on Charles's lip before releasing it and stroking his tongue into his mouth without preamble; he puts his hand on the side of Charles's face, fingers sliding down to his jaw to drag his mouth even more open for him ]

*'hmmms' contentedly at the bite, and for all of his prior protests, he doesn't give Erik any resistance to this, opening to him easily*
