[It's early, not too long after sunrise, when the light begins to glow through the curtains and the nocturnal moaning of the zombies crossfades into rustling of the sentient plantlife. No explosions, no battles -- just an utterly normal morning.]

[ leans down to kiss him firmly, but swiftly, to allow Erik to push Charles's shirt the rest of the way up and over his head ]

*lifts his arms to help getting it off*

Maybe just insufficiently convincing.

*pulls Erik back down to kiss him again*

[ kisses him back unhurriedly, despite either of their words, instead indulging in the feel of Charles's skin against his ]

*gives leisurely encouragement to him to take his mouth more deeply, and runs his hands down, across Erik's back, pressing them together*

[ closes his teeth on Charles's lip before releasing it and stroking his tongue into his mouth without preamble; he puts his hand on the side of Charles's face, fingers sliding down to his jaw to drag his mouth even more open for him ]

*'hmmms' contentedly at the bite, and for all of his prior protests, he doesn't give Erik any resistance to this, opening to him easily*

[ just catches the sound between them, and as Charles lets him in, Erik's fingers continue to move over his jaw, spreading on his throat and thumb sweeping a line of pressure down the centre.

we're just getting started, darling~ ]

*I would certainly hope so, my dear.

arches his neck into that, kissing him back more demandingly. his hands spread over Erik's skin, tracing paths almost methodically, as though he's creating a map by touch.*

[ his mouth is hard on Charles in response, no less open but lips dragging and bruising where they meet. then he breaks the kiss to follow the path of his thumb over Charles's arched throat with his tongue, ducking his head to do so though he keeps the rest of his body still, mindful of Charles's hands on him. ]

*and he's breathing hard when his mouth is freed, lips sore and red but it's sogood.*

Have you thought about how far you can push me? Like this?

[ against his throat ]

Like this. Any way that I can.

*so he can feel that near-silent, breathy chuckle*

Oh, but how far?

Until you can't talk anymore, to start.

[ sighs and kisses his throat ]

That's a cruel question to ask me, Charles.

*reaches up to card his fingers through Erik's hair, his voice gentle and genuine*

How so?

I want to push you to the ends of the earth.

*pushes the pleasure and want that he feels at that to the forefront of his mind, wrapping those thoughts around Erik's like a bodywarm silk scarf trailing its frayed edges*

[ exhales and shudders a bit, belly curving inward; he shifts his mouth over the place where he'd bitten before and sucks the reddened flesh between his teeth ]

*his hand tightens in Erik's hair as his breath catches in enjoyment and anticipation*

[ makes sure that will get nice and bruised before letting go, leaving Charles's throat slick with saliva and shifting his weight to free his other hand, reaching to grip Charles neck and smear his thumb through the wetness while he drags his tongue over a collarbone. he's careful of the press of his hips as he shifts down Charles's body for better access, though it takes a pause before he can bring himself to lift them, the concession nearly more maddening to his pride than to his body. ]

*swallows hard against the pressure, nearly every exhale now a quiet, careless sound of pleasure. his eyes are softly hooded and his body, save for his breathing and grip on Erik's hair, is purposefully still, absorbing from Erik and trying to keep them both from going over the edge*

[ presses open-mouthed kisses down his sternum, then past his ribs, tongue dipping down to chase Charles's belly when he exhales. his own breathing is deep but measured, moreso than usual, subject to the control that is now instantaneous when his focus sharpens and narrows on a single task. ]
