FCXL, or Phoenix stuff

So it became very clear to me the other night that I will never catch up on either Phoenix events or Phoenix aftermath. There's a lot of things that I think would have happened with Charles that I never had the chance to thread out. If you'd like to, we can adjust and work things out OOCly in this post. I'm also willing to thread things out, but I will be quite honest in that I'm pretty much at threading capacity for serious business now.

Here's the timeline of what happened for Charles, as far as I can figure:

Friday (the day of)
-Oh no, telepathy all throughout camp, telepathic Phoenix feels.
-He gets in contact with Erik, Ryuuken, Peter Bishop and M'gann -- all people he thinks are at particular risk and that he'd be able to work with to coordinate something should things go severely south. He also contacted Ronan and Thor seeking information.
-He initiates contact with Phoenix while still talking to Peter and Erik. Phoenix mentally tortures him to the point of him blacking out briefly at the end of it.
-NOT THREADED: It was while he was being tortured/unconscious that the major fighting happened. (Hence his not being present at all with any of the kids.)
-Erik/Peter finds Charles in the library. (We are punching the space-time continuum, in fine CFUD style.) Erik and Charles have a kind-of-fight. Peter accompanies Charles to the hospital.
-NOT THREADED: Charles spends most of the rest of the day at the hospital until Ryuuken kicks him out around 11pm
-NOT THREADED: I think Charles would have gotten in contact with Scott during that day, both to check in on Scott and to initiate making contact with Jean. He wouldn't want to risk negatively triggering her -- "her" being Jean.
-NOT THREADED: Charles also would have checked in on the kids-who-are-not-Julian, in a brief but efficient way. Julian is his primary concern, as the kid has clearly been mentally fucked something good.
-Erik comes to speak with him at the Cabin McAoy that night

The following days
-NOT THREADED: Charles spends a fuck-ton of time at the hospital, mostly with Julian. He gets kicked out of Julian's head a number of times by Julian's traumatized brain. He doesn't ignore the other kids, but he honestly has a pretty single-minded focus on Julian.
-NOT THREADED: Charles keeps in as much regular contact with Jean as possible

Saturday (i.e. two days from now)
-Charles makes mental contact with Julian

Josh- who has spent the week in puppy form- would have stayed with Julian the entire day (and probably night SHUT UP JULIAN) to monitor Julian's vitals/condition that first day, although for a couple hours after they first got Julian set up at the hospital, Josh would have seized the chance to get some sleep since he did heal three people in a row.

As Julian's primary doctor, not to mention as one of the younger mutants, he'd be around almost constantly, especially since he spends a lot of time at the hospital already. I'm totally open to discussing things oocly about what would have gone on/any interactions that may have happened, since I know everyone is pressed for playing time.

I am also open to any backtagging should that become a possibility/if there's anything that need be explored. Just let me know o/

Charles wouldn't have gotten to the hospital right when Julian first got there, so they would have missed each other at that point. If you're okay with it, Josh's sleep just might have been, you know, a little more calm and restful than one might expect ~for some reason~. And then Charles would have been there when Josh got back to the hospital that day. He probably would have looked kind of crappy, but there wasn't any physical damage, though he would have been exhausted by the end of the day.

Charles wouldn't have refused any healing-y things, but he would have been a bit brusque about it, too. Not where the energy should be being directed, etc..

And yeah, he would have been back every day. Probably looking pretty worn down by the end of the week -- different from the exhausted at the beginning of the week, which was one of those EVERYTHING AT ONCE OH GOD WHAT IS THIS DAY thing, whereas it ends up being one of those "things start bad and then level off but never really get better and keep on wearing things down" thing.

THAT'S COOL BY ME Josh already kind of sleeps like the dead because he tends to stay busy to the point where if he didn't have complete control of his biological functions, he'd be exhausting himself. Like all the mutant kids he does have serious nightmares though, which is why he only gets a few hours a night, since while he no longer wakes up screaming, it's still very stressful and difficult to sleep for long periods because of. So I'm totally cool with Charles softening his dreamspace a bit while he naps.

And yeah, Josh would have wanted to administer a quick check up (which is EXTREMELY quick for him since he'd just need to have physical contact with someone for a few seconds to determine if anything was wrong) and would probably give him a small energy boost if Charles would allow it (KIND OF LIKE AIRBORNE OR SOMETHING idk).

THIS IS A FEEL THE MUTANTKIDS ARE VERY VERY FAMILIAR WITH Josh would give the Professor some space to do his work, and would be unobtrusive and out from under foot, but he and the rest of the kids would never allow Julian to be truly alone with ANYONE. So while maybe not always in the room, they'd pretty much be on the other side of the door during Charles' visits. NO OFFENSE PROFESSOR, MUTANTKIDS JUST TAKE CARE OF THEIR OWN.

That said, Josh would probably keep a quiet eye on Charles and dedicate some energy to worrying about his stress level (wouldn't want you to get sick ): ) and make sure he was remembering to eat and stuff. Which, as a puppy, it'd be a bit harder for him to do but he'd probably convince Jubilee and Kurt to bring fruit or a granola bar or something whenever they visit to give to the Professor.

I will potentially/theoretically be around for the next few nights -- I don't foresee them as being too late at work and I don't have anything going on afterward. As always, life is subject to change, but it's looking hopeful.

No worries! If you're not up to it we can handwave, but like I said I'd like to have at least an idea of how it would have gone, since right after it happened Vic was very Not Okay (he...still isn't but his mask is back on now :') )

He also spent a lot of time at the hospital starting a couple days after the arm thing happened, as he had to take time to get used to the strength again. But yeah he'd be there at least all day and probably spent a couple sleepless nights there. But that can be handwaved as it's not really likely he'd be feeling particularly chatty.
