OOC Permission granted! Kurt was thinking about his relationship with Mystique during their entire conversation, so Uncle Charles would have picked up on that anyways. And he can dig a little more without Kurt noticing, too.

KURT LIKES THE PROFESSOR is the bottom line. Even though it's a little weird that he's younger and has hair, he's still The Professor. Kurt's said as much. And even if he isn't Evo Professor, he is by association a man that Kurt deeply respects and loves like family. But! He also gets that this Professor is different, which is honestly why he's maybe even a little bit more excited to get to know him. The Professor he knows is old and wise and stuff, and while he can be a bit of a jokester he is still The Professor (it's like Dumbledore or something). But Uncle Charles is closer in age to Kurt and has his own struggles with being a mutant--or that's how Kurt sees it, at least. And struggles with the not walking thing (sorry, Uncle Charles, this much is obvious). The Professor has everything together! Uncle Charles is still figuring things out. And while Kurt knows The Professor isn't infallible, Uncle Charles isn't on as high of a pedestal. So it's like he gets all the respect and love that comes with being The Professor, but he also gets all of the badgering that Kurt would otherwise NOT do to Evo Professor.

ONE DAY, WHEN KURT IS NOT DUMB, HE MIGHT NOTICE THAT UNCLE CHARLES IS UNCLE CHARLES. Then he will never get away, because that means he's family. You are doomed to be stuck with him forever, Uncle Charles. Accept it.
