I've pretty much just still been (slowly) catching up with old threads lately -- and thank you, friends, for your patience with me -- but I should go hiatus-y for a bit now.

In the northeast, prepping for Hurricane Sandy today! And we'll see what ends up happening.


ETA: A few Really Big Things Knocked Down By Wind, but not much else in the downtown area. Biggest impact on me has been all of the time that I spent prepping for the storm. And also scheduling around other people's things being rescheduled. So I might be a little scarce while getting things back on schedule, but otherwise, nothing much here.

This is just an apology post for having been MIA lately for longer than originally predicted. Debilitating allergies went straight into the beginning of the school year, which is always a killer that I always underestimate. Hopefully will be getting my head back into the game in the next week or so. I plan to pick up dropped threads, but no pressure/expectations of reciprocation, as I know that they are pretty ancient at this point.

So we were closing up our summer season, and then I got sick. Not that my not being around is all that notable, but it's likely that you'll be seeing me around (on chat and the like) but not being all that... active for a bit, as my brain is somewhere on Mars. I'll be getting back to things as soon as I can.

Oh my god, I still exist. And so! De-hiatusing Enjolras, Maladict, Tatsumi, Takeuchi Sora, Van Grants, Captain Jack Harkness and Rorschach over the next few days. Charles is still inna-coma'd while we find out if his husband did any serious structural damage to the hospital and/or hospital employees.

For the next couple months, my general availability will be from about 10:00pm-12:00am EST, pretty much every night. Sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less and there will doubtlessly be days here and there when I'm not around, but that's the general picture of things. I do have some flexibility, so if there's something going on at other times or if your availability is at another time and you'd like a chunk of thread-time together, just let me know and I'll see if I can be there for it.

And now I'm sick. Again. Probably partially thanks to my last status report.

I could have handled being sick or I could have handled being in tech for a small show, but I've been doing sick and in tech at the same time, which kind of eliminates the possibility of RP.

Be back soon, when I will both not be in tech and also hopefully have regained control of my body temperature.

Part 1

Here's the story, boys and girls:

Starting today, I'm plunging into the depths of my biggest SMing mission thus far in my career. Done bigger shows before! But not with me in charge.

So Enjolras/Maladict/Tatsumi/Takeuchi Sora/Van Grants/Rorschach/Captain Jack Harkness/Charles Xavier will be hiatused. For a while. I will continue threads that I already have going, but it will probably be at a rate of about one reply every 1-2 days. Though if you see me around, I am always up for terrible cameos, of course.

And here's the thing -- I'm in rehearsal for two weeks, but then the school has winter break. So I will hiatused from now until Saturday, December 17. Then I'll be around for the rest of December, with some holiday busy-ness.

And then I am going to fucking disappear for the month of January. As in making a comm post where all of my characters have turned into Russian stacking dolls or something, so that I'm not even tempted.

Part 2

So this happened between Charles and Erik on November 30. It was non-isolated and heated enough that you don't need to have super-hearing ahemJulian to be aware that there was some... shouting.

Also, Charles would have been really punching the shit out of things in his training with Babs the next morning, so his hands will have been looking kind of beat-up during the first week of December.

Unexpected hiatus from now, Monday 10/10 through Saturday 10/16. Because I'm a good friend and a reliable professional or something. And this is apparently what happens when I have a week off. I'll pop in when I have a chance here and there, but I'll otherwise be pretty much completely MIA.

Sticking my academic schedule here. Classes are just about the smallest thing on my plate -- I'll also be in production throughout the year, which means that there is a constant stream of rehearsals, meetings, office work and performances that have no set repeating schedule. I'll be doing an estimate of my overall state of semi-hiatus/hiatus for the year based on my most updated information.

Basically, my activity level will become very low, sporadic and unpredictable. But I still want to do things with you! This will hopefully help to plan. The most important part of this, however, as with any schedule, is the following note: SUBJECT TO CHANGE. I might end up unexpectedly available! Conversely, I might end up unexpectedly unavailable/drunk. But this gives a general shape of things, at least.
