PROFESSOR LIEK KID FLASH 8DDD Wally is bright and fun and good-natured and ambitious. And on a mixed team, non-powered human and powered human and non-human. And delightfully young. It's so... refreshing. And he's a scientist, which is wonderful. Wally is the intellectual type that Charles tends to relate to him on a more equal level than he does with others who are closer to his age. Because when it comes down to it, Charles is a nerd-bro. And while it can feel a little... indulgent, when there are so many of "his own" kids who are so troubled and traumatized, it's also a great reminder of some of the things Charles wants to win and win back. LET'S BE PALS, WALLY.
