Layle and Dave Strider are perfectly ordinary human beings without any defenses against mental fuckery. Layle is mostly just thinking of how awesome he is and how boring his life is, but is far from stupid and in fact pretty well-read and learned and worldly. He's just kind of a douche. Dave is also kind of a douche, but is also pretty transparently a kid who is lost and has no real idea what to do with his life. Also, he probably knows who Professor X is from the comics. Yeah. That might be a slight shock.
Brook is a talking skeleton without a brain. I play him as being unable to be read by telepaths because really, he doesn't HAVE a brain to read. All his bodily functions work because of magic, and while it MAY be possible that if Professor X studied Brook and managed to understand how the magic energy that powers him works he COULD start to 'tune into Brook's station' so to speak... it's too much effort. Brook is pretty open about what he thinks anyway. He's a very happy person who loves groovy behaviour and groovy songs! Actually Brook and Charles should go boozing and partying one day because they would be amazing together.
Faust is, beyond being nine feet tall, also VERY crazy and broken. It's... it's hard to say if he's got any defenses against telepaths or not, because canon likes to allude that he has but never states outright. The explanation I'm going to give is as follows. Faust is not only capable of controlling his body on the cellular level and can as such scramble his own thoughts to make it difficult to read him, he may also have sorcerous counter-measures put inside his head to prevent people from reaching him. As such if Charles tries to read Faust, what he will get is a vague, scratchy static noise/sensation, followed by a VERY pissed doctor. Who can teleport. And track people NO MATTER WHERE THEY ARE.
In short, don't try to mind-read Faust. Bad things will happen.
Finally... Mickey Mouse. Mickey Mouse has shields of pure light shielding his 'heart', which in Kingdom Hearts-ese probably includes his mind as well, and he will know if Charles is trying to mind-read him and try to push back, maybe politely tell him that it's not nice to peek and so on.
