Age: 30*
Height: 5'7" (170 cm) standing... shorter in the wheelchair
Blood Type: --
Birthday: 1932*

*Charles is seen in 1944 and 1962. The young Charles is credited as being 12, which makes sense. The older Charles, however, is credited as being 24. Which defies both math and getting your doctoral degree at a reasonable age. So I'm sticking with Charles having been 12 in 1944, which would make him 30 in 1962.

Medical Info: Up until very recently, Charles was, medically speaking, a very normal young man. He was pretty healthy and relatively fit, though certainly not excessively so on either count. Things would probably look a little strange if you gave him a brain scan, but otherwise, absolutely nothing out of the ordinary.

And then he got a bullet thrown into his spine.

He was wearing a bullet-proof suit at the time, so the bullet didn't actually enter his body, but the impact was, naturally, enough to cause traumatic spinal injury that left his legs paralyzed. I'm saying that sensation starts becoming severely spotty right above the top of the hips and is completely gone by the time you reach the top of the thighs.

Pulling him from the very end of the movie would mean that this happened to him at most a couple weeks ago. So there's still a lot of pain, and he's still adjusting in a very major way.

Eyes: big baby blues
Hair: brown, thick

Physical Traits: Slim build, though not lean -- kind of soft around the edges. A tendency toward tweedy-looking clothing. Quirks his left eyebrow something wicked. And he's not wearing cherry lip gloss, his mouth is just naturally like that.

What's Okay To Mention Around Him/Her: Go for it. Charles is meant for breaking.

Abilities: Super-duper telepath. Including, but likely not limited to...

-Basic mind-reading. It's just like any other sense -- he can be just casually hearing the thoughts of people around him or be actively listening in.
-Commandeering other people's senses (kind of like having human spy drones...)
-Commandeering other people's, uh... persons. Basically, he can turn other people into human puppets. It's entirely as god-moddy as it sounds.
-Talking to people inside of their heads (which, given his ability to hear other people's thoughts, means that he can have entirely mental conversations with people, telepaths or not)
-Exploring memories, even those no longer consciously remembered
-Erasing memories

Only other telepaths seem to know when Charles is being sneaky inside of their heads (sometimes he's obvious).

He can also play a mean game of chess.

Notes for the Psychics: Unless you are absolute god-mode, you will not be able to get into Charles's head (or get past the blocks in there, I suppose, is more accurate). And if you are up there in the power scale, please talk to me about it. Charles himself isn't actually a god-mode against other telepaths. While not a babymutant, Charles is still young and hasn't reached the height of his power yet.

Empaths, on the other hand, would probably get a sense of some deep, recent trauma, no matter how calm he looks on the outside. And the calmness isn't totally an act -- it would feel genuine as well. It's just not the entire story.

Can I shapeshift/bodyswap/spit at/step on/etc?: Sure, just talk to me for the body-swapping, natch.

Hugging/Kissing/Other non-violent physical contact: GO FOR IT.

Maim/Murder/Death: His boyfriend already did the first, but you're more than welcome to continue the work. I'm also really open to getting him killed, too.

Cooking: If he had to cook for himself, he... wouldn't starve. It's not one of his strengths, though.

Other: British accent! That he picked up in Westchester, NY, apparently. idkmybff movieverse.
